What Is A Borderline Vegan?
I refer to myself as a borderline vegan because although I do not eat any animal flesh and I do not purchase any meat, dairy, or eggs, I have consumed some foods that were made with eggs or milk, which technically would not be considered vegan. For example, if I see that my mother has a freshly baked pound cake on her kitchen counter, I’m not quite ready to pass up a slice indefinitely. Not only that, it is very difficult for me to fit into any doctrine, lifestyle, social group or any type of group for that matter. I eat what I want to eat, when I want to eat. However, I try my best to choose foods that nourish my body and contribute to my well being.
